Programme Advertising
Buying a match day programme has been a part of a typical football fan’s routine for over a century. Times have changed however, and what was once a single sheet of poor quality paper with minimum information, is now a much-admired full-colour, 32 page issue for each home match.
The club produce a minimum of 500 programmes for each home match (18 league matches plus cup ties). Corporate guests at McDiarmid Park receive a complimentary copy of each issue bringing advertisers into direct contact with a wide range of prestigious local and national businesses. And of course there is always a big demand for the programme from the ordinary supporter at the match - another specific market for advertisers.
Research has shown that on average a match programme is read by two additional people other than the purchaser, and with anything from an 1/8th to a full page available it’s a unique way to get the message across.

Fixture Poster Advertising
For many years, St Johnstone has started the new football season by producing a full-colour fixture poster.
A team group photo together with a full list of the season’s fixtures form the centrepiece of the 320mm x 450mm poster which is bordered by a selection of advertisements from local companies.
Distributed throughout Perthshire to supporters and businesses and via the extensive network of agents for the club’s highly successful weekly lottery, the fixture poster is something which is put on display in businesses, pubs and clubs for the best part of 12 months and is another unique advertising opportunity.
