Scottish Hydro deal

St Johnstone FC are delighted to announce Scottish Hydro as our official community partner for the third consecutive year. Manager Derek McInnes and defender Michael Duberry were on hand to help launch the new agreement and to promote the latest Scottish Hydro Super Skills coaching sessions.

Liam Barn, Scottish Hydro Marketing Projects Manager commented: “With our head office in Perth, we are keen to get active in our home community which, after all, provides many of our staff and customers.

“We were delighted to form a partnership with St Johnstone, our local football club, to help them deliver a community coaching programme which provides quality coaching sessions to hundreds of youngsters across the Perth and Kinross area.

“Over the past three years, Scottish Hydro Super Skills has helped to get thousands of children active across the Perth region. Participation is key to community sport so we are pleased that these courses have proved popular year after year with budding footballers and parents alike.”

Atholl Henderson, SFA/St Johnstone FC Community Coach said: “Any boy or girl between Primary 1 and Secondary 2 age, who likes to play football, should not miss out on Scottish Hydro Super Skills. This weekly football programme is held throughout Perth and Kinross, and whether you are a beginner or a talented player, you are sure to enjoy yourself and improve your skills.

“We have a carefully devised programme, which will help you to become a much better player, if you show the attributes of someone who wants to improve.

“We always try to make it easy to get involved. There is no need to pre-book any session – just turn up at the relevant time, with your completed registration form found at the back of this booklet, pay £2.50 to the qualified coach in charge and enjoy your football. Once you are registered, you will receive details of all the activities about Scottish Hydro Super Skills and other Saints community activities.”
