McDiarmid Park to host St Johnstone WFC versus Queen's Park

St Johnstone WFC’s match against Queen’s Park on Wednesday, May 1 will take place on the main pitch at McDiarmid Park.

The ScottishPower Women's Premier League 2 fixture will kick-off at 7.45pm and the club is hoping a bumper crowd will be in attendance.  

Manager Kev Candy is already looking forward to the match and is sending out the rallying call for as many people as possible to take in the contest.

Adults can enter the stadium for just £5 while concessions will be priced at £1. As is the case at St Johnstone WFC home games at the Riverside, season ticket holders enter for free.

“It’s really exciting to be playing in the stadium environment,” Candy said. “It will be a special night for us and it is also fitting that we will be hosting the league champions.

“We want to provide an entertaining product which brings more people back. If you come up to the stadium on Wednesday, May 1, you should hopefully be well-entertained.

“Irrespective if it is the men, the women, the U18s or some of the younger academy sides, they are all wearing the same colours and are all proud to be representing St Johnstone.”

Supporters attending the fixture should note that it will be cash only sales at the turnstile.
