SAINTS TEAM UP WITH OLD FAVOURITES FOR PIE SUPPLY!

Saints are going ‘back to the future’ as the club gears up to take the match day supporter catering back ‘in house’ after three years contracted out and we are delighted to announce that we are returning to Yorkes of Dundee as our supplier our pies for the coming season.

Always popular over many years of the previous supply agreement the new arrangement will see a range of options available to supporters including sausage rolls, Scotch pies, steak and gravy pies and vegetarian pies.

Saints’ General Manager Stuart Hutton said: “We are delighted to have Yorkes back on board as we know from supporter feedback that their products were popular before and I am confident that they will be again. The club will be working closely with the company to ensure that we have a good base of standard products each week which will be supplemented regularly with ‘flavours of the day’.

Grant Yorke of the company said of the deal: “We are delighted to be given the opportunity to supply pies to St Johnstone again. We have an excellent and successful relationship with St Johnstone FC, having supplied and supported the Saints for over 20 years prior to the operation being contracted out and we are looking forward to getting our pies back into the stadium kiosks.”

And the good news is that you will be able to enjoy a pie at the game without worrying too much about your health because Yorkes have worked hard to make it as good as possible for the health-conscious.

Grant continues: “Our pies are produced using beef products from local farms. All livestock is reared under the Quality Meat Scotland accreditation scheme assuring our customers of genuine quality meat products. Our mince is 90% lean beef mixed with seasoning rusk and water and are now lower in salt and lower in fat and higher in quality than ever before.”
