SFA ISSUE NOTICE OF COMPLAINT AGAINST BRAD McKAY

SFA ISSUE NOTICE OF COMPLAINT AGAINST BRAD McKAY

26th July 2016

Brad McKay has been issued with a Notice of Complaint by the Scottish Football Association following his post-match comments at the opening day defeat against Hearts at Tynecastle.

The defender, who joined the club from the Tynecastle side in the summer, made comments regarding Hearts player Juan Manuel Delgado Lloria which the SFA Compliance Officer has deemed to be in breach of Rule 73 which states that ”No…….player……shall in an interview……make comment(s) of a discriminatory or offensive nature………”

The Compliance Officer initially asked Saints for more information on the background to the matter and having received that, has now issued the Notice with a Principal Hearing date of 3rd September.
