Before the football kicked off on Wednesday night against Partick Thistle, fans enjoying pre-match hospitality in the Centenary Suite were treated to a Q & A night with former manager Alex Totten and members of his 1989/90 Division One title-winning side. The former players in attendance were John Balavage, Roddy Grant, Grant Jenkins, Stevie Maskrey, Allan Moore, Kenny Thomson, Mark Treanor and Kenny Ward.

Alex Totten said: \"I had six senior clubs as a manager, but undoubtedly the most enjoyable time was at St. Johnstone. When I came here they were the 3rd worst team in Scotland and in three seasons took them from the Second Division to the Premier. It's a tremendous club where I had a great rapport with the fans, and it was great to see the lads tonight to reminisce about all the stories when we won the league in 89/90. It's a terrific club.\"
