Betfred Cup match televised

Following yesterday's Betfred Cup Quartter-Final draw at Rugby Park, Saints will take on the holders Celtic at McDiarmid Park for a place in the last four of the competition.
It has today been confirmed that the match will take place on Wednesday 26th September at 7:45PM with the match being broadcast live on BT Sport.
Details around ticket arrangements will be announced in due course.
SPFL Reserve League
The opening fixture of the SPFL Reserve League kicked off today and Saints faced Dundee at Links Park, Montrose.
Alan Maybury's men lost 3-2 having twice led the match. Callum Hendry continued his goalscoring form with the opener after 21 minutes and Saints nearly doubled their lead five minutes later when Chris Kane had the chance to score from the penalty spot. The striker failed to convert the opportunity and the hosts Dundee found themselves down to ten men.
However, Sofien Moussa levelled the scores on the half hour mark and the two sides went into the break at 1-1.
Greg Hurst put Saints back in front just after the hour mark but late goals from the home side on 78 and 85 minutes left Maybury's side on the losing end of a 3-2 scoreline.
