Kano signs new deal

Thursday 3rd August

St. Johnstone FC are delighted to announce that Chris Kane has signed a two-year contract extension, which ties the 22 year old to the club until the end of season 2019/20.

The Edinburgh-born striker, who has worked his way up from the Saints academy to the first team, has played a total of 86 matches (52 of those appearances from the bench) for Saints, scoring 12 goals.

Upon signing the new deal he said, "This contract shows the faith the Manager has in me to want to keep me here for the next three years. It's good for me personally in terms of knowing I will be here long-term. We've had a lot of success in the last few seasons and I want to play my part in keeping that going in the future."
