Two of the current Saints players out on-loan bagged goals last weekend for their respective clubs with 20-year-old midfielder Kyle McClean scoring an important 90th minute winner in the Danske Bank Irish Premiership title race.

Steven Anderson (Partick Thistle) also netted with Cammy Ballantyne and Shaun Struthers involved for BSC Glasgow.

STEVEN ANDERSON(Partick Thistle)

Ando isn't known for his goals but will be forever remembered by Saints fans for his one in the Scottish Cup Final back in 2014.

The club's record appearance holder joined Partick Thistle at the end of the window on-loan until the end of the season and has found himself amongst the scorers since he arrived at Firhill.

Fresh from scoring against Inverness in the Scottish Championship in his last game, Ando popped up again for Partick for his second goal in as many games in the 1-0 win over East Fife in the Scottish Cup 5th Round.

The veteran defender nodded in at the back post in the win at New Bayview and was praised by Partick boss Gary Caldwell after the match.

Caldwell told Partick Thistle's official website: "Ando’s been a great addition. I think I’d describe him as old school in the way that he defends.

"He just wants to head things and put in tackles but he’s also smart enough to know when the right time is to do that which you saw a couple of times today.

"He’s someone who young centre-halves should look up to and try to learn from. He’s been very successful in his career and uses his experience to command the defence which helps those around him."

Next up for Ando and Partick is a trip to Alloa Athletic in a big game down the bottom of the Ladbrokes Championship.

KYLE MCCLEAN(Linfield)

20-year-old midfielder Kyle McClean has impressed since his arrival at Linfield on-loan from Saints and last weekend scored a vital 90th minute winner to keep David Healy's side at the top of the Danske Bank Irish Premiership.

Linfield remain 6 points clear of Ballymena having been 2-0 down to Coleraine. Their superb fightback was completed when Kyle scored in stoppage time to net his first goal for the club since joining on-loan.

Kyle has been in good form since moving to Linfield and his performance against Coleraine was described as impressive by the media and the club's official website.

Next up for Kyle and Linfield is a chance to win some silverware in the Northern Ireland League Cup Final against Ballymena on Saturday night.

BALLANTYNE, STRUTHERS & QUIGLEY(BSC Glasgow)

Cammy Ballantyne played 90 minutes and Shaun Struthers came off the bench as BSC Glasgow won 1-0 against Gala Fairydean in the Scottish Lowland League.

BSC remain 2nd in the table following the win and both Saints loanees were involved in the outcome of the match.

Cammy had an early chance to score but registered the assist for the only goal of the game scored by Orr.

And substitute Struthers came off the bench to win a penalty for his side but his teammate Orr missed the chance to grab his second of the match.

Ben Quigley was an unused sub at The Indodrill Stadium.

Next up for the Saints trio and BSC Glasgow is a trip to face Edinburgh University on Saturday.
