Saints welcome Motherwell to McDiarmid Park tomorrow afternoon as the stadium hosts its first league match of the new season.

Last week, Tommy Wright's side saw off Kilmarnock 2-1 at Rugby Park thanks to goals from David Wotherspoon and returning winger Michael O'Halloran, who scored what will surely turn out to be one of the goals of the season with two minutes remaining in East Ayrshire.

Motherwell opened the league season last weekend by going down 2-1 at home to Rangers. Steelmen defender Ben Heneghan's goal was cancelled out by a Graham Dorrans double for the Glasgow side.

Last season, Saints played Steve Robinson's side on three occasions last term, coming out on top twice (winning 2-1 twice at Fir Park) and drawing the only match in Perth 1-1 last December.

Tomorrow is also our second annual Family Fun Day, with activities taking place on the all weather pitch from 1pm until kick off.
