St. Johnstone will aim to finish their season on a high when they take on Rangers tomorrow afternoon in their final match of the season. The match against Rangers, which kicks off at 12.30pm on Sunday, will bring an end to another successful season for St. Johnstone. European qualification is already secured for Saints, along with a 4th placed Premiership finish.
The previous meeting between Rangers and Saints resulted in a 3-2 victory for the Ibrox club. The last meeting between the two sides at McDiarmid Park ended 1-1, Steven MacLean equalised for Saints after Barrie McKay had opened the scoring for the Glasgow side.
Danny Swanson and David Wotherspoon both miss tomorrow's match through suspension, whilst Murray Davidson is injured.
Saints manager Tommy Wright spoke before the match of the importance of ending the season on a high:
"It's been a fantastic season for us, and we deserve to finish fourth.
"From our point of view, finishing fourth is a brilliant achievement.
"We want to give the fans a victory to finish what has been an excellent season on a high."
