Tomorrow St. Johnstone will take on Sunderland in a friendly match at McDiarmid Park, with a 2pm kick off.

It will be the first team's first match since last Thursday's Europa League qualifier in Lithuania, and a chance for Tommy Wright to test his side against a club who were competing in the English Premier League last season.

The Black Cats' match against St. Johnstone will be the third and final of their pre season tour of Scotland, with Simon Grayson's men drawing 2-2 at Hibernian last Sunday before coming away with a 3-0 win at the Tony Macaroni Stadium on Wednesday evening versus Livingston.

Sunderland have bolstered their ranks ahead of this fixture, signing Glasgow-born Ireland international Aiden McGeady from Everton and James Vaughan from League One side Bury. Both may be handed debuts at McDiarmid Park.

Other high profile names in the Sunderland squad include former Italy U21 goalkeeper Vito Mannone, ex-Manchester United foursome John O'Shea, Darron Gibson, Paddy McNair and Donald Love, former Manchester City midfielder Jack Rodwell, and club captain Lee Cattermole.
