The club is delighted to announce that McDiarmid Park has been voted as Scotland's 'Most Family Friendly Ground' at the 2018 SFSA National Fans' Awards.

The Scottish Football Supporters' Association asked for fans from right across the country to vote and McDiarmid Park came out on top for the best family experience at a football match.

The club has worked hard to make the stadium a place for the whole family with our Junior Saints pre-match club, the SSE Family Ormond Stand, and of course free entry for U12s with a paying adult which both home and away supporters can take advantage of.

Chairman Steve Brown spoke to the club's official website about receiving the award from the SFSA which was presented by the awards' sponsor Caithness Glass before the match against Hibs on Wednesday night.

"The club is delighted and honoured to have been recognised in this way," the Chairman said.

"To be voted as the club providing the most family friendly experience by supporters right across Scotland is a testament to the efforts of everybody involved in trying to make McDiarmid Park the perfect football stadium for families.

"We introduced free entry for U12s because we believe that these youngsters are the next generation of football fans and we want to encourage them to be enthusiastic supporters of the football club and the Scottish game for many years to come.

"St. Johnstone is a family club and we take great pride in winning this award from the SFSA."
