Saints head to Tynecastle tomorrow for the Premiership match v Heart of Midlothian FC and with this being the match closest to Remembrance Day, Saints players will be wearing the traditional poppy on their match jerseys.

However, we are pleased to reveal that for the first time, those poppies will be embroidered onto the jerseys of the players along with the match date and name of our opponents.

These will be truly unique, one-off jerseys and we are delighted to announce that after the match most of the jerseys will be available to win in a public auction with proceeds going to an armed forces related charity.

Full details of how to bid for the jerseys will be announced next week.

As many Saints fans will know, Heart of Midlothian FC is a club which has special cause to commemorate Remembrance Day and Saturday’s match will see the Pipe Band of the Royal Scots Association playing on the pitch from 2.30pm, a loan piper and a minute of silence before kick-off. The pipe band will also play at half-time.
