Tuesday 21st March

St. Johnstone Football Club and Perth's Bannatyne Health Club & Spa will come face to face this Friday (24th March) in a twelve hour 'marathon match' to raise money for Comic Relief.

The match will take place on the All Weather Pitch at McDiarmid Park between 9.30am and 9.30pm and will be book ended by a staff/members match between Saints and Bannatyne, while the hours in between will see local schools, community groups, academy sides and fans take to the pitch to keep the twelve hour contest going for this great cause.

Money will be raised on the day through bucket collections while supporters can also donate online through a JustGiving page.

Saints GM Dave Ryan said: “We’re a family club so we’re delighted to play any part we can in raising money for a fantastic cause such as Comic Relief. Across the twelve hours we will showcase the talents of our academy players and community sides, as well as inviting local school children to take part as well to make it a real family day."

Bannatyne Perth's General Manager, Amanda McKenzie, said: "We are absolutely delighted to be working with St. Johnstone FC to support Comic Relief. Let's raise some money for a great cause while encouraging healthy living and exercise and have some fun!"
