Super J's competition winner trains with first team!

Since winning an exclusive Super J's competition at the end of last season St. Johnstone fan Jamie Cumming (6) has been excited to finally claim his prize - a training session with the first team!

The youngster from Perth came in on Monday (8th August) morning and met Saints boss Tommy Wright before meeting first team players in the Players' Lounge and Dressing Room. He then joined the players on the training pitch for twenty minutes to take part in their warm up and stretching exercises.

Tommy then presented Jamie with a St. Johnstone away shirt with the name and number of his favourite player, Steven MacLean, on the back of it.

Jamie's mum Donna said, "It's been an amazing experience for someone so young and it's great for Saints to give him the opportunity to do this."

She added, "Everyone has been really friendly and I'd like to say thank you to the manager and the club for letting him train with them."

Jamie won the opportunity to train with the first team by winning a 'guess the scores' competition with the Super J's, the official St. Johnstone supporters club for kids, last season. To take part in this season's one you can join the Super J's by dropping into McDiarmid Park during office hours (weekdays 9-5) or by emailing to be sent an application form. Alternatively, you can call Donald on 01738 455000 and do the application over the phone.
