FIRST FIVE LEGENDS INDUCTED TO SAINTS' HALL OF FAME

FIRST FIVE LEGENDS INDUCTED TO SAINTS Perth Concert Hall was the venue for St Johnstone's inaugural Hall of Fame Dinner last night.

300 guests enjoyed a night packed with memories - some recent, others more distant - as Master of Ceremonies Gordon Bannerman opened proceedings by welcoming into the hall the five who topped the fans' voting: Joe Carr, Willie Coburn, Henry Hall, John Brogan and Roddy Grant.

The current first team squad and the legends that are the team from the Willie Ormond 1969 era were among those looking on as video montages by Ross Cunningham of Cunningham Video gave the audience the chance to view highlights of last season and also this season's Europa League campaign.

Chairman Steve Brown and Manager Tommy Wright both gave speeches ahead of the main event - the induction of the five legends.

The Club would like to thank all who attended and contributed to a very successful event.

All the photos from the event - and yesterday's great win - can be viewed on the club's Photoshelter site
