Perth born player who was a regular goalscorer at various youth levels before joining the club full-time at Christmas 2008. His hard work was rewarded when he was given his first team debut in the final match of the 2008/2009 season at Airdrie and he had only been on the pitch a matter of minutes as a late substitute when he celebrated with a great goal - the fourth in Saints 4-0 win. In November 2009 Stevie was given a contract extension which ties him to the club until 2012 and after regular appearances on the bench, Stevie made his SPL debut on 13th November 2010 as a late substitute against Hearts and followed that up with his first starting appearance against Motherwell at the end of January 2011. Unable to make much inroads into first team affairs in the opening half of the 2011/2012 season, Stevie was put out on loan to Alloa Athletic in December 2011 for a month, a deal which was extended to the end of the season during which Stevie enjoyed a very productive time, netting 19 goals. That vital contribution to The Wasps' Third Division Championship success won him the Irn Bru Third Division Player of the Year award and he then doubled his achievement by winning the Irn Bru Scottish Football League Young Player of the Year award as well. Keen to hold onto the player's obvious talents, Steve Lomas quickly signed Stevie up on a one year deal for the 2012/13 season but has opted to give Stevie further experience by puting him on loan to First Division Hamilton Accies until January 2013.
