Alistair Stevenson

An extremely important figure at the football club, Alistair Stevenson oversees and manages the running of the St. Johnstone Youth Academy. He returned to Perth in November 2012 after previously being at the club between 1993-2003 before joining to Hibernian.

During his first spell at McDiarmid Park he helped unearth players such as Danny Griffin, Stuart McCluskey and Andy Whiteford.

Alistair has been instrumental in the ensuring the club has met the new strict criteria as part of the SFA's Project Brave and oversees all of the teams playing under the club's academy banner. With a number of recent academy graduates currently involved in the first-team such as Jason Kerr, Mark Hurst and Alistair McCann, the club has also seen some of our young prospects achieve international recognition with Kerr, Ross Sinclair and Gregor Donald all being involved with the national set-up at different youth age groups. This is a testament to the work of Alistair and the academy coaches in recent seasons.
