David McMillan

David McMillan proved to be a prolific goalscorer in his native Ireland and that persuaded Tommy Wright that he should be given an opportunity at McDiarmid Park. In December 2017, it was announced that the striker had signed a pre-contract with Saints which saw him join on January 1st 2018.

The former UCD, Sligo Rovers and Dundalk striker made his Saints debut as a second-half substitute against Partick Thistle on January 27th 2018 but suffered an injury just 21 minutes into his first appearance which ruled him out May. He returned to the Saints side in the 5-1 victory over Motherwell when he replaced hat-trick hero Steven MacLean and added a goal of his own in the emphatic victory at Fir Park.

He netted again in the next match against Hamilton Academical.

His first goal of the 2018/19 season came in the League Cup clash with Forfar Athletic with his first league goals of the campaign coming in back-to-back matches against Hamilton Accies and Aberdeen.
