We have a number of players out on loan at the moment.
Let’s check in with how they have been getting on with their respective clubs…
Sven Sprangler
Midfielder Sven Sprangler has picked up plenty of minutes after joining Newport County at the beginning of the year.
It has been a hectic schedule for the Welsh club, who sit 22nd in EFL Sky Bet League Two.
Sven’s battling performances in the middle of the park have helped ease their relegation fears and, as of the morning of April 14, they sit five points clear of the bottom two Barrow and Harrogate Town.
Sven has made 15 appearances for Newport, who travel to face 19th-placed Cheltenham Town this coming Saturday.
Scott Bright
Defender Scott Bright has been continuing to impress on loan at Scottish League Two outfit Forfar Athletic.
He put in a strong display in their most recent game on Saturday afternoon and helped The Loons to a clean sheet and three points against league leaders East Kilbride.
Scott played the full game in the 1-0 victory.
Forfar are hunting down a play-off spot and sit behind fourth-placed Stranraer only on goal difference. They head for Stranraer this Saturday afternoon.
Craig Hepburn
Goalkeeper Craig Hepburn has been an ever-present in the starting line-up of East Kilbride since joining them on loan in January.
As mentioned above, East Kilbride were defeated 1-0 by Forfar Athletic at the weekend with Stuart Morrison netting the only goal of the game in the second half.
But Craig and EK remain top of the pile as the season reaches its latter stages.
He has made 15 appearances so far, pulling off a number of key stops and keeping important clean sheets.
Murray Binnie
Young forward Murray Binnie enjoyed another productive afternoon for Jeanfield Swifts on Saturday.
He took home the match ball after netting a hat-trick against league leaders Hill of Beath Hawthorn. It was a 5-2 win for Swifts.
As of the morning of April 14, the Perth team sit second in the East of Scotland League’s Premier Division.
Arran Brookfield
Young defender Arran Brookfield has been continuing to pick up important experience on loan at Lowland League side Civil Service Strollers.
He has started plenty of games for the capital-based club, including a recent draw against top of the table Linlithgow Rose.
Civil Service Strollers, who sit 13th in the Lowland League (as of April 14), earned a hard-fought 1-0 win against East Stirlingshire in their most recent game.
