We are delighted to announce that goalkeeper Ross Sinclair has signed a new contract with the club.
Ross, pictured showing off our new goalkeeper kit, is now with us at McDiarmid Park until the summer of 2028.
The 25-year-old, from Scone and who came through the youth academy, is looking forward to putting in the hard work across pre-season ahead of our return to the Scottish Premiership.
Ross said: “I’m delighted to be here and I’m really looking forward to the challenge.
“I have been at this club for a long time. It is an important place for me and for my family. This is my home.
“We have a great group of boys and, last season, the togetherness was key to our success. We’ll look to use that to kick-start our season in the top-flight. Everyone is already excited for the games to show what we can do.”
Ross joined St Mirren on an emergency loan at the end of last season and performed impressively to help keep them in the top-flight, playing a starring role in their play-off match against Partick Thistle.
He said: “I was very grateful for that opportunity at the end of last season and I feel it was a good experience for me. I felt like I did well. Now it’s time to kick on.”
Ross will be working with new head of goalkeeping Paul Gallacher.
He said: “Paul has been very good. I previously worked with him at Scotland, so I knew the energy he was going to bring.
“I’m looking forward to working with him more, getting pushed every day and being the best I can be.”
