Joel Cotterill is relishing his latest international experience with Wales after a strong start to life at the Saints.
The midfielder is on duty with the under-21s for Euro qualifiers against Belgium and Austria respectively.
Wales face Belgium in Westerlo on Tuesday, September 29 (kick-off 7pm) before hosting Austria at the Oval in Caernarfon a week later on Tuesday, October 6 (kick-off 5.30pm).
Joel said: “I’m really excited for the games coming up. They will be challenging as we’ve faced them before, so we know what to expect and we have to prepare right.
“We are going into these games with a winning mentality. We’ve had some very good moments and some disappointing ones, but we need to look at the positives as we have a young group who need to settle in quickly.”
On his time at Saints so far, Joel added: “I’ve settled really quickly at Saints in such a short period of time, which is what a new player wants. The lads have played a massive part in that and the coaching staff too.
“I’ve really enjoyed my first two weeks at the club and we’ve had some really good results. I’m looking forward to what the season brings for us as a group.”
