The under-19s return to Club Academy Scotland Performance\Advanced Youth League action on Tuesday evening.
The young Saints welcome Queen’s Park to the Community Arena at McDiarmid Park. Kick-off will be 7pm and all support would be appreciated.
Saints head into the fixture off the back of a 3-0 away win against Edinburgh City last week and currently sit fourth in the table. Queen’s Park occupy fifth spot, but have played a game less.
Defender Arran Brookfield said: “We’ve made a decent start to the season and I feel the boys are gelling together. We’re finding other ways to win games.
“You saw that against Edinburgh City last week where, at times, the game was a bit scrappy. But overall that was a professional performance with a clean sheet, three goals and the three points.
“Queen’s Park like to pass and move, so I think we’ll see more of a tactical game this Tuesday. Like any game, you need to earn the right to play and have the belief that you can go and get a result.”
Arran, who has plenty of experience training with the first team, hopes to see as many supporters as possible down at the Community Arena.
He said: “Every bit of support we get gives us an extra push. It’s always nice for us to see some of the fans down at our games and taking an interest.”
