We are delighted to announce an exciting new partnership with local premium drinks brand The Perth Distillery Co for the 2025/26 season.

As part of the agreement, The Perth Distillery Co will provide a bottle of Perth Gin for the Player of the Match award at every home fixture, with each selected player receiving a specially-branded bottle to mark their performance.

Each bottle will feature the new Saints badge and match details, printed in-house by the distillery ahead of each game. Moments after the final whistle, the winning player’s name will be added to the label – creating a truly unique keepsake to honour their performance.

St Johnstone CEO Francis Smith said: “We’re thrilled to welcome the Perth Distillery Co to the St Johnstone family. It’s always special to collaborate with a local brand that shares our values and pride in the city.

“Their support for the Player of the Match award brings a unique and stylish touch to our matchdays and highlights the best of both Perth football and Perth craftsmanship.”

The Perth Distillery Co’s Iain McDonald, a lifelong Saints fan, shared his excitement, saying: “I’ve supported St Johnstone since my dad used to take me to Muirton Park in the 1970s – back when I was small enough to get lifted over the turnstile!

“The Player of the Match back then could have been legends like John Brogan or Ally McCoist. I then enjoyed European nights and cup wins with my son Ross which we never thought we would see at McDiarmid, although most of the Player of the Match awards would have had Dave Mackay on them for a number of seasons!

“To now see Perth Gin partnering with the club I’ve loved all my life is a proud moment.”

The initiative is made possible by The Perth Distillery Co’s significant investment in in-house premium print production, which allows them to create bespoke, top-quality labels for their spirits.

Iain added: “There’s a real buzz around McDiarmid Park this season. With Fran, Adam, Simo and the team building an exciting squad, we can’t wait to see new Saints heroes’ names on our bottles as we back the club’s push for promotion and work with Saints on some exciting opportunities for the fans.”

Born in 2017, Perth Gin is distilled and bottled in the Fair City, the former crowning place of Scottish Kings and the home of the historic Stone of Destiny.

Located yards from the majestic River Tay, The Perth Distillery Co produces handcrafted premium spirits with meticulous and unwavering dedication, creating a spirit that embodies the soul of Perth and the spirit of Scotland.
