SAINTS HEAD FOR GREENOCK

SAINTS HEAD FOR GREENOCK

26th July 2016

It's the first away league game of the season

There will be a couple of familiar faces in the opposition when Saints line-up for their first away league game of the season tomorrow.

Greenock is the destination and Morton the opposition as we look to build on the opening day win over Livingston.

The home side will have two players in their squad who are well known to Perth supporters with defender Allan McManus having moved to the Tail ‘O the Bank in the summer and long-serving goalkeeper Kevin Cuthbert having joined up since the start of the season.

Ironically, Cuthbert’s long-time goalkeeping colleague Alan Main may also feature tomorrow, having trained this week. However, there will be no new left-back as the search continues to fill the vacant position. There is nothing new to on this and it may well be Paul Sheerin who fills in for the suspended Liam Craig in this defensive role.
