RESERVE LEAGUE CUP FIXTURES

Saints will once again be participating in the Reserve League Cup this season.
The Competition, run by the Scottish Football League, will operate on a regional basis split into two sections of six as follows:
East Section Arbroath, Cowdenbeath, Dunfermline Athletic, East Fife, Ross County and St. Johnstone.
West Section Airdrie United, Clyde, Partick Thistle, Queen's Park, Stenhousemuir and Stranraer.
Each club will play their respective opponents twice on a home and away basis, giving a total of ten matches to be played on a fortnightly basis. Thereafter, the top two clubs in each Section will contest the Semi-Finals over one leg and thereafter, the winner of each Semi-Final tie will contest the Final, again over one leg.
The matches will normally, though not exclusively, be played on a Monday evening and Saints open their programme with a home match against Cowdenbeath a week tonight, 15th September with a 7.30pm kick off.
