MANAGER HOPES TO HAVE OPTIONS FOR SATURDAY
26th July 2016
The countdown to Saturday’s Tayside derby against Dundee is on and Manager Derek McInnes is hoping to be able to call on all of the players who were on duty last weekend in Dumfries plus Steven Milne and Peter MacDonald who are free from suspension.
Derek says, “Steven Anderson should be OK after picking up an injury at Palmerston. He has had an injection in the troubled area and I would expect to have him available. Jody Morris has responded better than we hoped to the treatment he received at Stamford Bridge recently and at the moment we are looking at about two weeks before he is available Initially, we thought it might be longer so that is pleasing although given the number of disappointments he has had with this injury we will not set our hopes too high.â€
Gavin Swankie (pictured) was expected to train today for the first time this week and might make the game against his former club.
We had a good response to the competition for tickets for Sunday's Women's match between Scotland and Slovakia. The winners drawn at random were Brian Duncan, Lisa Todd-MacRae, Alan Milne, Barry Campbell, Caitlin McPhee, Gary Munro and Margaret Ferrier
