The Under 17s defeat Stenhousemuir

The Under 17s yesterday continued the impressive form which has seen them top of the Under 17 Youth Division since the start of the season by sweeping aside Stenhousemuir to the tune of nine goals to nil.

Stevie May was the main goal threat, netting a hat trick and there were goals for Stephen Reynolds (2), Dean Elder (2), captain Martyn Shields and Jordan Quinn (pictured) who netted his first of the season.

Team: Clark (Duffy), Sullivan, Small, Shields (c), Durnan (Breslin), Peden, Elder (Norrie), Robson (Quinn), Reynolds May (McIntosh), Lindsay

The boys will have a tough test this coming weekend when they take a week away from league football to compete in the SFA Youth Cup. The boys are away to Queen's Park at Lesser Hampden in a 3rd round tie at 1.30pm. This competition is designed for Under 19 age level so our Under 17s will have the chance to pit themselves against a bigger, stronger group of lads.
