St Johnstone Football Club wishes to express our deepest gratitude and admiration for the incredible response of the emergency services following the serious fire in Perth city centre last weekend.
In the face of a devastating incident, the bravery, professionalism, and swift action of the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, Police Scotland, the Scottish Ambulance Service, and all support teams have been nothing short of heroic. Our thoughts remain with all those affected, and we extend our heartfelt support to the wider Perth community.
The strength and solidarity shown across the city in recent days reminds us of the deep-rooted spirit that defines Perth – a community that comes together in times of need.
As a gesture of appreciation, we will offer free entry to all emergency service personnel at our first competitive home match of the season, against Raith Rovers in the Premier Sports Cup.
When tickets are on sale, emergency workers wishing to attend can do so by presenting valid ID to the ticket office, and you will subsequently be given a complimentary match ticket for the fixture.
We will announce when tickets are on sale in due course. In a gesture of support, we’ll also be distributing free match tickets to members of the community who were directly impacted by the fire.
We hope this small gesture offers a token of our immense gratitude for the work they do – not just in moments of crisis, but every day.
Thank you again, from everyone at St Johnstone Football Club.
