Adama Sidibeh highlighted the strong team spirit after helping the Saints secure a 2-0 win against Raith Rovers on Saturday afternoon.
Sidibeh, who returned from international duty with The Gambia late in the week, opened the scoring just shy of the half hour mark at Stark’s Park before Josh McPake wrapped up the victory.
The triumph maintained our unbeaten start to the season and Sidibeh said: “We knew it was a tough place to come. We knew it was going to be a tough game. But the boys got the job done.
“I was always thinking about this game and we needed the three points. I was still training very hard when I went away on international duty. I gave everything on Saturday, which is the most important thing.
“I am a team player. Even if I don’t score, I want to contribute. Team-work is the best and we are all team players.”
