CHARITY AUCTION | Liam Craig's signed shirt

24th March 2020

Tuesday 24 March 2020

In what is undoubtedly a difficult time for all, the Club is appealing to supporters who can to help two fantastic charities affected by the current COVID-19 situation.

Saints midfielder Liam Craig has kindly offered to put his away jersey from the 2015/16 season up for auction which has been signed by the first-team-squad from that campaign!

All of the proceeds will be split evenly between two fantastic charities - The Perth & Kinross Foodbank and our charity partner, CHAS.

In 2015/16, Saints finished 4th in the top-flight, securing European football and went unbeaten in our post-split fixtures that year including a 2-1 victory over champions Celtic and a 3-0 win at home to runners-up Aberdeen.

In addition to the auction, Liam has agreed to donate £200 on top of whatever the jersey goes for and the Club will also be matching Liam's generous offer.

Speaking to the Club's official website, Liam said: "This is obviously a very tough time for everybody but in particular for charities who are working tirelessly to help people in their time of need.

"I thought this would be a way to give something back and to help out during this period of uncertainty. And I'm delighted that the Club has committed to matching my donation too."

Media and Communications Officer, Gary Henderson, added: "Charity's such as Perth and Kinross Foodbank and CHAS will be working under immense pressure in the coming weeks and months during this ongoing pandemic.

"Liam has shown fantastic generosity in auctioning off a jersey which means a lot to him, while also pledging £200 in order to do his bit to help. The Club will be matching his donation to both of these extremely worth causes."

The Auction will close at 5PM on Friday and to make a bid, please email The highest bidder by 5PM on Friday will win the signed jersey.

If any of our supporters can help either of these charities in any way, we'd encourage them to do so.
