This Saturday’s game against Queen’s Park is our official ‘community matchday’ at McDiarmid Park, where the spotlight will be firmly turned in the direction of our good friends at Saints in the Community.
There is a packed schedule of activities and football-related fun for supporters to take advantage of.
We’re looking forward to welcoming a bumper crowd of Saints in the Community guests into the North Stand to cheer on the team.
Here’s how the day is shaping up…
9am to 11:30am – The ever-popular Soccer Saturday football coaching will take place on the all-weather pitch adjacent to the stadium. The perfect way to get excited for a big day at McDiarmid Park.
11am to 12:30pm – A Family Fan Zone on the all-weather pitch for young and old to enjoy. Get involved on the inflatable football pitches, STEM activities, raffle stall and much more!
11am to 1pm – There will be bucket collections in the car park for Saints in the Community. We’re hoping supporters can ‘Bring a Pound to the Ground’ to donate.
12pm – Turnstiles will open. Show your Saints colours at the fan brush paint stall. Keep an eye out for Brogan the Beagle visiting, and there may even be special visits from first team players!
12:15pm to 12:45pm – Players will wear special Saints in the Community warm-up tops.
1pm – Players will be escorted onto the pitch by members from a variety of Saints in the Community’s projects.
