Excitement continues to build for our Hall of Fame Dinner (sponsored by Sidey) at Perth Concert Hall on Saturday, November 1.
We recently revealed that Tommy Wright, Steven Anderson, Sandy McLaren and Steve Brown will enter the Hall of Fame on the night.
Also receiving the honour will be Alistair Stevenson. This was previously communicated with supporters when he stood down from his role as head of academy.
And we can now confirm that the final inductee to be revealed is former goalkeeper Jim Donaldson.
JIM DONALDSON
Goalkeeper Jim Donaldson, born in Perth, always had aspirations of turning pro with St Johnstone.
It was dream come true stuff when he made his debut on 16th April 1966 before moving on to become a mainstay between the posts at Muirton Park.
Jim helped Saints reach the 1969 League Cup final and played in all six of our games in the 1971 UEFA Cup.
In his view, the game against Vasas in Budapest was most important and arguably his best performance in a blue jersey.
There were certainly plenty of those and we are looking forward to welcoming Jim to Perth Concert Hall on November 1.

ALISTAIR STEVENSON
As previously communicated, Alistair Stevenson will be inducted into our Hall of Fame on November 1.
Alistair stepped down from his head of academy role in the summer. His association with our youth development structure stretched back to 1993 where, quickly, his knack for scoping out ability was evident.
After continuing his successful career at Hibs, Alistair returned to Saints at the end of 2012 where he again fostered an environment of growth, discipline and ambition.
The club’s youth development set-up flourished further as players transitioned seamlessly into the senior squad.
In more recent years, Alistair – alongside dedicated coaches – has revelled in watching youth academy teams lift Club Academy Scotland league and cup silverware at various age groups.
