Some of our international Saints were back in action across the past few days.
Daniels Balodis and Victor Griffith were both involved in World Cup qualifying matches in the past 24 hours.
Here’s how they got on:
DANIELS BALODIS
Daniels was back in from the start for Latvia on Tuesday evening as they lined-up against Albania in a World Cup group stage qualifier.
Albania had taken the lead just shy of the half hour mark before Antonijs Černomordijs levelled the match in first-half stoppage time.
The match would finish 1-1, with Daniels playing the full 90 minutes.
VICTOR GRIFFITH
Victor was named among the starters for Panama’s World Cup qualifier against Nicaragua this week.
Deployed in the middle of the park, Victor played the full 90 minutes in the important 3-0 win. César Yanis had opened the scoring early in the second half before late goals from Ismael Diaz and Erick Davis sealed the victory.
Panama sit top of their group with four wins from four.

Elsewhere, Andre Raymond was an unused substitute in Trinidad and Tobago’s 2-1 defeat against Costa Rica while Adama Sidibeh, after his brace against Equatorial Guinea, was not included in The Gambia’s squad for a second friendly against Uganda.
