We are delighted to confirm that talented young midfielder Jack Robertson has signed his first professional contract with St Johnstone Football Club.
The 17-year-old from Crieff has played a key role so far this season in our under-19s set up and he also impressed last campaign for our under-18s.
Jack is now excited to get to work to further improve his game after pledging his future at McDiarmid Park.
After signing his contract, Jack said: “I am very happy. I have been at the club for a long time now so it is extra nice that it is St Johnstone that I have signed for.
“I am very excited for the next couple of years and hopefully I can kick on now.
“I have really been enjoying my football recently. Ever since I first joined St Johnstone it has been great.
“I will keep my head down now, work hard, and hopefully I can kick on even further in my career.”
Jack added: “I want to thank Paul McDonald and Danny Griffin for their support so far this season. The training has been great and results have been positive.
“We have young group, but we are starting to gel well, and I am sure we will all get better over time.”
Our Head of Academy Paul McDonald, said: “We are over the moon to get Jack tied down with the club. He has been someone that I have been really keen to bring in full time.
“He has some really good physical attributes. It is now an opportunity for Jack to prove that he has all the attributes of getting into our first team here at McDiarmid Park.”
