Striker Jackson Mylchreest and defender Scott Bright have both agreed one-year contract extensions with the club, keeping them at McDiarmid Park until the summer of 2026.
Jackson spent last season on loan at Forfar before returning following an injury. The attacker returned to action at the tail-end of the campaign and was named on the bench for our final league match of the season.
Scott went on loan to Brechin City from November last year and notably scored a stunning goal in the Scottish Cup against Hearts at Glebe Park.
After penning his extension, Scott said: “It is really exciting for me. I have been here nine years now and to continue on is brilliant.
“I just want to keep pushing and to improve my game further. I want to try and get in and around the first team even more.
“Both myself and Jackson have had loan spells and we have trained with the first team plenty. It is now about taking that next step.
“The gaffer treats us the same as every other member of the first team. That is what you want, you don’t want any special treatment. He is very demanding and that helps you develop as a player.”
Jackson said: “I am delighted to get the deal sorted with the club. I have had a bad year injury-wise but, as soon as I got back fit, all I wanted was to get a new deal with this club.
“The gaffer has been really good with me. He has his way of playing and his ideas and I am excited to be a part of that.
“I have been in and around the first-team and it was nice to get on the bench on the final day of the season at McDiarmid Park.
“I just want to be involved in more of those experiences and push on to get involved with the first-team.”
