Sven Sprangler, Scott Bright and Craig Hepburn all enjoyed successful weekends with their respective loan clubs.

Here, we take a closer look at how they got on…

Sven Sprangler

Sven picked up the man of the match award as Newport County played out a 0-0 draw with Grimsby Town in Sky Bet League Two.

Both sides had chances to win the match from the penalty spot, but neither was able to convert.

Sven is back in action for Newport on Wednesday when they take on Swindon Town in League Two. Kick-off is at 8pm and the match is live on Sky Sports.

Scott Bright

Scott played the full 90 minutes for Forfar Athletic on Saturday as they secured a 2-0 win over Dumbarton at Station Park.

Martin Rennie and Jake Dolzanski were on the scoresheet, with Scott playing a key role in an accomplished defensive display to help secure all three points and a clean sheet.

Scott and Forfar travel to Elgin City this Saturday in William Hill League Two.

Craig Hepburn

In the same division, goalkeeper Craig Hepburn recorded a clean sheet as East Kilbride defeated Edinburgh City on Saturday.

Craig pulled off a string of impressive saves, including a penalty stop to deny Malik Zaid.

Heppy spent the first half of the season on loan at Brechin City before joining East Kilbride in January. He is next in action on Saturday when Mick Kennedy’s side face Annan Athletic.
