After completing a fourth consecutive clean sheet, defender Morgan Boyes spoke of his delight to Saints TV.
Simo Valakari’s side scored the only goal of the game against Arbroath through striker Adama Sidibeh, and a strong defensive display thereafter secured an important three points.
Vice-captain Morgan said: “It was a really good game. Arbroath pose a threat that not many others do in this league.
“We handled that well after the first ten minutes or so, and we had a lot of opportunities. Ultimately, we came away with the three points and that is all that matters.
“Adama is always a handful to deal with in training, so I feel sorry for opposition defenders on a matchday! It was a great finish from him for the goal.”
On another clean sheet for the team, Morgan added: “Four on the bounce is something for us to build on. We went on a wee run of conceding goals that we didn’t want to.
“We spoke about that as a team and as a unit, and we have put that right. We now need to build on it.”
