THE OPPOSITION
Ayr United have been in good league form and travel to McDiarmid Park following back-to-back wins.
Scott Brown’s side defeated Dunfermline by a solitary goal at East End Park last midweek before getting the better of Airdrie 4-2 on home soil at the weekend.
They netted all four goals in the first half courtesy of Ethan Walker, Mark McKenzie (2) and former Saint Jamie Murphy.
Ayr sit fifth in the William Hill Championship standings after their opening seven games.
