The road to Hampden is back on!

Today is the start of a very different challenge. It is the return of the Scottish Cup and knock out football.

Our last journey to Hampden ended with the highest highs, a League Cup trophy, a very welcome addition to our trophy collection.

Standing in our way today is none other than our local Tayside rivals, Dundee FC. This will be the first time we have faced Dundee since the 2018/19 season when they were relegated to the Scottish Championship.

Dundee comes into today's match in form after pulling off an impressive 3-2 come back against Dunfermline after going two goals down inside the first ten minutes.

This result proves the spirit and fight of Dundee and shows that they will be well up for the Challenge. With the added element of local rivals, it has all the ingredients to be a cracker of a game.

St Johnstone comes into the game today well rested and raring to go after the international break. March was very impressive all-around for everyone at St Johnstone. A League cup, Top 6 finish, and to round it off Manager, Callum Davidson was awarded Scottish Premiership Manager of the Month.

The team will be looking to use this recent success and momentum to fire them into the next round of the Scottish Cup and set the foundations for an exciting and rewarding Cup run.

C'mon you, Saints!
