Preview | Livingston (A) 06/02/2021

6th February 2021

Today is our final instalment of three consecutive away matches, and it's looks like it could be the most exciting yet.

We travel to the Tony Macaroni area to face fellow League Cup Finalists Livingston FC.

Saints are coming into today's game off the back of a midweek 1-0 defeat to Rangers at Ibrox. Although the scoreline suggests otherwise, Callum Davidsons men came away with their heads held high after putting in a spirited and wholehearted performance against the current League leaders.

In the 52nd minute, a Hagi strike proved to be the difference, on another day Saints maybe would have come away with a point after Bryson found himself with two chances at the end of the game, which required two brilliant saves from Rangers keeper McGregor.

Although today's game can be seen as a dress rehearsal for the League Cup Final, the full focus is purely on the Premiership as Saints are yet to take a point off Livingston this season so are desperate to get all three today.

Liam Craig spoke to the media this week ahead of today's game about the importance of getting positive results: "If we want to have a successful season, games like Saturday are ones we want to go and win to enhance our chances of being in the top 6."

The match will be shown LIVE on Saints TV for international subscribers, with live audio commentary for those in the UK/Ireland.
