After last weekend’s defeat to Arbroath, we are quickly back to action this Saturday (October 25) when we take on Greenock Morton at Cappielow.

It’s a 3pm kick-off and as always we would love to have your support from the away end.

Here is everything you need to know ahead of the fixture…

TICKETS

Tickets for our William Hill Championship fixture away at Greenock Morton on Saturday, October 25 are now on sale.

Our support will be housed in the Wee Dublin End and Sections F and G of the Allan McGraw Main Stand. All away supporters will enter through the Wee Dublin End turnstiles.

Tickets for away supporters are available to purchase online through Fanbase. A cash gate will not be in operation on the day for away fans.

Adults – £22
Concession (Over 65, 16-21) – £16
Child (12-15) – £10
Child (Under 12) – £6 with paying adult
Carer £0.

Please note, proof of entitlement must be provided to purchase concessionary tickets. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Supporters who require a carer ticket or access to the disabled section should contact admin@gmfc.net or call the main office on 01475 723571.

Supporters may notice that, when going to purchase a ticket, it only shows “Wee Dublin End” as an option. This ticket will still give fans access to the Main Stand seating, and seats are unallocated.

QR codes will be placed around the away entrance to allow supporters to scan and purchase tickets on their phone.

SUPPORTERS’ BUS

The supporters’ bus will leave McDiarmid Park at 12 noon for this fixture. In a slight change to the norm, with the ticket office being closed for much of next week, supporters should call reception to book their seats on the bus – 01738 459090 option 6

TRAVEL

From north

From the M8 at Langbank follow the A8 into Greenock and into the 30mph zone of dual carriageway until you reach the the second set of traffic lights, then turn first left onto Sinclair Street. The Matchday Car Park entrance is directly on your left as you turn the corner. Parking charge on Matchday is £3.00. Please note that Sinclair Street is closed on matchday to vehicular traffic beyond the car park entrance. Proceed up Sinclair Street and the main entrance to Cappielow Park is on the righthand side before the railway bridge.

From south

Head north on the A78 towards Greenock. Follow the road past IBM and continue until the second set of traffic lights. Turn right onto Dunlop Street. Follow this road until it turns sharp left and goes downhill. Follow the road through the junction until you reach the traffic lights. You should now be facing the river. Turn right. Follow the main road through two roundabouts, and continue until you reach the Cappielow Industrial Estate. Cappielow Park is on the right hand side of the road.

By train

From Glasgow Central alight the Gourock bound train service at Cartsdyke station. Not all trains stop at Cartsdyke, it is advised that you check the boards at Glasgow Central before boarding. Exit Cartsdyke Station onto Bawhirley Road, walk to the junction of Carwood Street and turn left following the road all the way down the hill until you reach a T-junction, turn left at the T-Junction under the railway bridge, the turnstiles for Cappielow Park are situated here.

THE OPPOSITION

Morton are currently in seventh position in the Scottish Championship. The Ton have won one match this season and drawn eight games.

Dougie Imrie’s side head into Saturday’s game following defeat to Ayr United last weekend. Marco Rus and Ben Dempsey got the goals for the Honest Men and Cammy Ballantyne scored for Morton.
