After finishing pre-season unbeaten, Saints will be looking for a positive start to the new season when they take on Ross County in Dingwall on Saturday.
The Staggies were hit by covid early on in preseason forcing them to forfeit two games, but they ended their League cup group stage campaign with a dominant 4-1 win over Montrose.
The last meeting between the pair was back in March, where Glenn Middleton scored an 86th-minute winner. When both sides previously clashed in Dingwall at the beginning of the year it finished one apiece.
With one eye on Thursday’s huge game against Turkish giants Galatasaray, a win in the highlands is exactly what Callum Davidson’s men need going into the midweek fixture.
