Reece McAlear touched on the special feeling of finding the back of the net and celebrating the moment with supporters after his impressive goal on Saturday.
The midfielder scored a brilliant second half free-kick to give us the lead against Morton at Cappielow, before Liam Smith wrapped up the win.
Reece said: “It’s a difficult place to go so it is a huge three points for us. It wasn’t the prettiest of games but, at this point of the season, it is just about getting the points.”
On the free-kick, he smiled: “I think Hammer [Jamie Gullan] wanted to take that one but I had to say, ‘sorry, it’s mine’. And thankfully it went in. It’s the best feeling ever when it hits the back of the net.
“Cheick then went on a mazy run and slides it in for Liam for the second goal. He’s done that a few times in training, to be fair to him. It sealed the game for us and then we managed it properly.”
He added: “The fans were brilliant. There are eight games left now and we need them every step of the way. They turned out in their numbers again.
“It’s obviously a good feeling when you win and you have that kind of support behind you.”
