Reghan Tumilty netted his first goal for the club on Saturday as we defeated Elgin City 8-0 in the Premier Sports Cup.
The big win ensured we qualified for the last 16 of the competition ahead of today’s draw.
After the game, a delighted Tumilty said: “We are all delighted in there. The gaffer talked about being relentless before the game and that is what we were today.
“To go out there, put on a performance like that and end up seeded in the draw is great.
“As a fan you have probably had to trust the process. We are getting better with every game we play.”
We now build-up to our league opener against Partick Thistle next weekend and looking ahead to that one, Reghan added: “We can park the League Cup to one side now and concentrate on the league.
“Hopefully we can take confidence from our start and get some results early in the league.”
