St Johnstone Football Club would like to share our plans for Remembrance Day events.
On Saturday we will hold a Remembrance ceremony prior to kick-off as we take on Dundee at McDiarmid Park. The ceremony will begin at 2:50pm, so please make your way to your seat as early as possible. Our players will be wearing poppies on their jerseys during the game.
On Tuesday, November 10, owner and chairman Adam Webb, club CEO Francis Smith and General Manager Roddy Grant will attend Perth and Kinross Council’s Remembrance ceremony.
Remembrance Day will also be marked with a service inside McDiarmid Park starting shortly before 11am. This will be led by our club chaplain David Barrie.
Please note, supporters will also be able to attend this service and can enter the stadium from 10.45am via the fire exit beside turnstiles three and four of the Geoff Brown Stand.
The Scottish Poppy Appeal is Scotland’s largest fundraising campaign and takes place annually in the lead up to Remembrance Sunday in November. For more information, click HERE.
