Ross County Match Preview

St Johnstone travel North to Ross County tomorrow for their next Cinch Premiership fixture.
Ross County come into the game off the back of an away defeat to Hibs last Saturday with Jake Doyle-Hayes produced two wonder strikes to claim the win. The first came 50 minutes in as he hit a low driven strike from 20 yards which was too powerful for the County ‘keeper to save. The second came on the 79th minute, Doyle-Hayes took the the ball down with his chest and fired a volley into the top corner.
Saints hope to build upon an improved run of form, as shown by the incredible win against Hearts last Saturday. Ali Crawford put the Perthshire men ahead early on with a well worked team-goal. However, Hearts drew level soon after through Nathanial Atkinson. Jamie McCart scored the winner as he found himself in space from a set-piece and headed the ball home to give the Saints a very valuable three points.
The defeat for the Staggies in Edinburgh leaves them with only one win in seven games keeping them within touching distance of Saints. With only four points between a Saints win and it would see the Dingwall in amongst the fight at bottom.

The McDiarmid Park Supporters’ Bus will leave McDiarmid Park at 11.30am and seats can be booked by phoning our ticket office during office hours on 01738 455 000.
Seats are £11 each for adults and £8 for under 15 and over 65s – cash on bus (exact fare please).
