We are delighted to confirm that St Johnstone Football Club will be playing in the inaugural SPFL Tennent’s Sixes later this year!
The event is being staged at Braehead Arena in Glasgow on Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4 and will bring together all 12 SPFL Premiership clubs in a unique indoor six-a-side tournament.
Club legends and former fan favourites are set to create a weekend of entertainment, nostalgia and competition that will be showcased to supporters across Scotland and beyond.
Full squad details will be announced in due course!
Saturday group stages will start with three regionalised groups of four, with each group
winner and runner-up progressing to the knockout stages, along with the two best third placed teams.
To keep fans on the edge of their seats, every game will have a winner with a bonus point for
a penalty shootout win in the event of a draw. The sin bin will also be making a comeback
and organisers hope it will capture the imagination of football fans and families alike.
