St Johnstone WFC were defeated 2-0 by East Fife in SWPL2 on Sunday afternoon.
The score was locked at 0-0 as the whistle sounded for half-time at Bayview Stadium in Methil.
In the first half, Jodie Malcolm thought she had given the Saints the lead but she was deemed offside.
The hosts would strike twice from set-pieces after the break, with their goals scored by Skivington and Corke.
Saints manager Josh Henderson said: “We didn’t start the game well, but we got better and created more chances as the first half wore on.
“We thought we could have been ahead at half-time through Jodie’s disallowed goal.
“It is frustrating to concede from two set-pieces, but we are more annoyed at the way we played. We didn’t move the ball as we know we can, and we just didn’t get fully going. We didn’t get close enough to our opponents.”
